Here we are again! Wasn't it just last year that we celebrated out 40th Class Reunion? Well, don't look now but it is time for our 45th. Thanks to the great and much appreciated efforts of Pat Russell, most of you have already seen our Reunion website (www.bghs64.org) and gotten some preliminary information. Hopefully, you have reserved the dates of September 18, 19, 20, 2009.

Based on your comments from our past reunions, and the committee's desire to "get away" for the weekend, the entire event will be held at Mt. Charleston. As always, a big thank you to Joe & Sandy Lupo and Bill Terry for volunteering their cabin.

The cost will be $50.00 per person. Make checks payable to Josephine Reising and mail to 6223 Katella Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Please mail your check no later than September 1st.

Friday, September 18th - Open House and light snacks at the cabin beginning at 7pm for those of you who decide to spend the entire weekend catching up with old friends.

Saturday, September 19th - The day is open to you to enjoy hiking, horseback riding, shopping at the Mt. Charleston Lodge flea market or just stop by the cabin to visit.

Open house at 3pm for cocktails, dinner at 6pm (or thereabouts). Dress is casual, the mood will be light so just plan to laugh and enjoy yourselves.

Sunday, September 20th - Family Day at the cabin including Continental Breakfast from 10am until 2pm. We will also have a short Prayer Service and the sharing of some Class of 1964 memories.

There is a block of rooms being held at the Mt. Charleston Resort under the name of "Class of 1964 Group". Ten rooms are being held and if we use all 10, then the rate is $89.99 per night per room. You must call the hotel directly at 702-872-5500 (or toll free 888-559-1888) to book your rooms. Any rooms not booked by September 1st will be cancelled.

Or, you can stay at the Mt. Charleston Lodge Cabins. The cabins rent for between $215 and $260 per night. Reservations must be made directly with the Lodge at 702-872-5408. No special rates were quoted to us and you must book your reservations 30 days in advance.

We hope to see all of you there and would love to see some of the "missing" whom we haven't seen for several reunions. We have a lot of catching up to do. Any great-grandchildren out there?
