I
don't know if you remember our BGHS Classmate during junior year, Steve Perzan.
His family moved from Philadelphia to Las Vegas, and after only one year in Vegas
they moved back to Philadelphia.
I kept in touch with him over the years.
He became a priest and is serving at St Helena's, 6161 N 5th Street in Philadelphia.
Today
they were celebrating his mom's 90th birthday and his sister's 60th. Junko and
I attended. I hadn't seen him in 12 years. The last time was at his 25th Jubilee
as a priest in 1998.
After they moved to Las Vegas, his dad bought a new
"duece and a quarter" (Buick Electra 225). I remember cruising in it
on several occasions, including the double date for the junior prom. I recall
he was extremely good in history.
